The Dortry is an eco-friendly cottage for 2, located in Mid-Wales. Quiet, a spiritual antidote to modern life, no wifi. It is peaceful and cosy all at once. 4 miles from local shops. Ideal for retreats, set in 5 acres of land.

The Dortry was made a place away from modern life, yet with the comfort wanted from it. It is on a spring and has been picked out for an ecological award. No chemicals used in laundry nor cleaning products, no wifi, all is made as naturally as possible, to make it welcoming, cozy and romantic. 1 pet welcome £10 extra. Baby cot available for infant, no extra charge.

 

Description of Interior

Downstairs: beams throughout, stone floor - tiles, wood burner, table, small sofa, separate bathroom with shower-bath, wash basin and toilet, separate kitchen (no door) with electric hobs, electric oven, microwave (not for long), oak cupboard, CD player. Upstairs, 4 poster bed, hanging space, 2 armchairs, Full Tv, DVD player, Freeview, Table+chairs, little antique desk,chest, upright light, etc. Bed linen and towels are included, as well as tea-coffee-herbal teas-sugar, cleaning products and Tea towel. Initial wood included but extra wood £5. Central heating on a timing included, as well as electricity. Water on a spring and scarce in dry months so we do ask our guests to be kind with their usage during those times.

 

Garden and Exterior

Recycling facility for compost, glass-plastic-tins-cardboard-paper outside. Parking for 3 cars in front. Owner's house opposite but far enough for privacy. Bridle ways just behind the cottage leading to beautiful hills.
