Summary

Riverside cottage is positioned on a quiet road on the edge of the village of Foyers. Foyers is located on the unspoilt south east shore of Loch Ness, approximately 16 miles from Fort Augustus and 18 miles from Inverness. There are delightful walks to the shores of Loch Ness, or via the forest and riverside trail to the famous 'Falls of Foyers'. Shop, restaurants and bars are within ambling distance. Fishermen can enjoy free river and Loch fishing in the are, for brown trout. The ski areas of Cairngorms and the Nevis range are only an hours drive away.

 

Description of Interior

Spacious lounge with a wood burning stove, colour TV, free view, DVD, CD player, radio and I-pod docking station. A selection of books and games are available for use which should help to while away the hours should the winter weather mean for a long night in!! The modern kitchen is well equipped with electric oven, grill and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, toaster and kettle. The property is also equipped with a washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board. The adjoining dining room is furnished with a chunky wooden table and chairs, providing comfortable eating space for 6. The bathroom is also located on the ground floor and includes a fitted suite comprising; bath with overhead shower, toilet and hand basin. Upstairs boasts 2 good sized bedrooms; one king size, the other a twin room. A second king size bedroom is located on the ground floor providing ease of access for those struggling to climb stairs.

 

Garden and Exterior

Riverside Cotage has front and rear gardens, both of which are fully fenced and secure for pets to roam or children to play out. There is usually plenty of room at the side of the property to park your cars.

Rental Conditions

All prices include bed linen, 2 towels per person and all water, electric and heating.
5% discount offered for 3 or 4 person occupancy and 10% discount for only 2 person occupancy.
20% deposit required to reserve dates with the balance being due no later than 8 weeks prior to the start of your stay.

2 pets welcome free of charge. All additional pets must be agreed with the owner at the time of booking and will be charged at £10 per pet per week.

£50 refundable damage deposit required at the time of the final payment. This will be refunded after your stay as long as the property is left in the clean and tidy condition in which you found it and there are no damages, losses or excessive cleaning required.

The cottage is approximately 16 miles from Fort August and 18 miles from Inverness. The nearest skiing resort of Aviemore is approximately 40 miles away, but easy accessible. Inverness airport lies about 22 miles from Foyers. There are train stations in both Aviemore and Inverness.
