Terms and Conditions for Holidaymakers and Advertisers

Please read and understand all these T&Cs before using the site.

We are an advertising site where Holiday Property Owners can list their holiday accommodation, and a seach facility for holidaymakers looking for their next holiday.

The website (hereafter referred to as "This Site") in these Terms and Conditions.

A condition of using "This Site" is agreement not to use "This Site" for any illegal purpose, or purpose prohibited by these terms and conditions, or by other applicable laws and regulations.


Terms and conditions of use "This site" for Holidaymakers

1. Personal use

"This Site" can only be used to view or make enquiries to owners regarding holiday rental properties. Holidaymakers are not charged access, and "This Site" can only be used to contact our advertisers regarding the suitability of their properties for a holiday rental. Use of "This Site" for any purpose other than research and booking of a holiday rental property is strictly prohibited. When sending an enquiry through "This Site" your e-mail address will be saved in our database and we will send you at least one e-mail per year for commercial purposes. You can always unsubscribe from this service by sending an e-mail to and your e-mail address and data will be deleted from our database.

(All initial enquiries are firstly directed through our admin team.)

2. Accuracy of property and owner information

"Welcome Worldwide" cannot guarantee the accuracy of prices, photos or other information available on "This Site". Accurate property description, prices, bookings and photos are the sole responsibility of the property owner or agent. "Welcome Worldwide" has not confirmed the price, or accuracy of each advertisement and owner, so holidaymakers are advised to make their own investigation into the authenticity of any information offered. "Welcome Worldwide" is not liable for errors, inaccuracies, misleading photographs, prices, or claims, made in the information supplied by the owner, or agent, on "This Site".

3. Liability

Use of "This Site" indicates that you agree to release "Welcome Worldwide" from any loss or damage in connection with any breach of terms and conditions, or any other legal obligation by you and your use of "This Site". "Welcome Worldwide" cannot be held responsible for any losses or damages you may experience using "This Site". Therefore, "Welcome Worldwide" is not obliged to offer any refund or compensation for losses you made have suffered from renting a property from an advertiser on "This Site".

4. Copyright

Content and software on "This Site" is copyright protected. Other than personal use, content may not be otherwise used or copied without the prior written approval of "Welcome Worldwide" or the individual or organization posting information on "This Site".

5. Making an Enquiry

When the holidaymaker finds a holiday property they are interested in, an enquiry will be made via the "Contact Owner" button on the webpage. All initial enquiries will be handled directly by the Welcome Worldwide admin team before being passed on to the holiday property owner. Availability and a total price for the dates requested will be supplied by the property owner after being contacted by our admin team.

6. Holiday Deposit

A 10% deposit of the total price of the booking will be required from the Holidaymaker. (Welcome Worldwide will send the holidaymaker an invoice for this amount.) As soon as the payment has been received the property owner will be informed and will contact you directly to arrange the finer points regarding your stay at their property and the arrangement to pay the balance price of the holiday. Welcome Worldwide only handles the 10% deposit, and this amount is released to the property owner 24 hours after your arrival at the property.

7. Balance Payment

The Balance Payment for your stay at the property will be a personal arrangemet with you (the holidaymaker) and the holiday property owner. Welcome Worldwide suggested balance payment on arrival.

8. Deposit Refund

In the event that the holiday booking has to be cancelled the holiday maker may be entitled to a refund depending on when the cancellations has been made.

  • More than 6 weeks before arrival date: 100% refund
  • Less than 6 weeks before arrival but more than 2 weeks before arrival: 50% refund
  • Less than 2 weeks before arrival: No Refund

If the holiday maker cancels their holiday and loses all or part of their deposit, this money will be sent to the property owner as lost revenue. Welcome Worldwide does not keep any part of this deposit.


Terms and conditions for advertisers with "Welcome Worldwide"

9. Copyright

The advertiser guarantees that he/she owns the copyright in the photographic and textual material supplied to "Welcome Worldwide" (the material), or is authorized by the owner of the copyright to grant "Welcome Worldwide" permission to use the material. The advertiser grants "Welcome Worldwide" a perpetual, royalty-free license to use the material for promotional purposes. The advertiser unconditionally indemnifies "Welcome Worldwide" immediately on demand against any cost, loss, or liability (including legal representation costs) which "Welcome Worldwide" may incur by any breach of copyright from use of the material. The advertiser understands that photographic or textual material from any part of "This Site" may not be reproduced without permission from the copyright owner.

10. Design and layout

"Welcome Worldwide" cannot be held responsible for any loss, or damage, resulting from the design of layouts, or changes made to the photographs and text submitted by the advertiser. "Welcome Worldwide" reserves the right to set the final design layout of an advert on "This Site", including the right to edit text, or amend layouts or photographs. "Welcome Worldwide" also reserves the right to amend and edit text data entered on the online advertiser database.

11. Liability

If an advertiser is victim of fraud, "Welcome Worldwide" cannot become liable to the advertiser. "Welcome Worldwide" does not guarantee that the operation of "This Site" will be uninterrupted or error free. "Welcome Worldwide" cannot be held liable to the advertiser for any fraudulent, consequential, or indirect damages, including lost profits, however caused, on any theory of liability, including but not limited to, product liability.

12. Multiple properties

A property advertisement on "This Site" belongs to one holiday unit, not multiple units, nor should be represented as an example of properties in a region. Only one unit should be represented in an advertisement unless prior permission has been given. "Welcome Worldwide" reserves the right to amend any property adverts not in accordance with this policy.

13. Termination of an advert

If "Welcome Worldwide" receives complaints from users about a specific advertisement misrepresenting a property, or its surroundings, or if "Welcome Worldwide" repeatedly receive complaints about an owner, then we reserve the right to remove the advertisement and disable the account without notice, and retain payment. If an advertiser attempts to enter unsuitable material into the database, or repeatedly misuses the on-line system, "Welcome Worldwide" reserves the right to reject any advertisement and will not be liable for any expense caused. Advertisers can remove their advert from "This Site" before the end of their subscription period, and this will be done as soon as formal notice is received from the subscriber by e-mail, quoting their owner ID or home number and password. Unfortunately, no refunds can be given.

14. Contact

To maintain a constantly high level of service "This Site", requires all advertisers to be available to respond to enquiries by telephone or e-mail. If advertisers are unavailable for a period of more than one week, we ask them to leave an answer phone message to that effect, or leave an out of office response on their e-mail account. If neither of these options is possible, we ask advertisers to contact us so we can temporarily suspend their advert. We reserve the right to suspend adverts of owners who are unavailable for more than one week. We will send messages by telephone and e-mail asking the advertiser to request re-activation upon their return. Please note that we offer an SMS text service to bring enquiries to owners' attention when they cannot access their e-mail.

15. External links

Links from an advertisement to any website or e-mail address other than "Welcome Worldwide" are only accepted if a link is sent back to "Welcome Worldwide" from your website or blog or similar. If an advertiser adds a link or e-mail address without consent, re-adds a link or e-mail address after removal or removes reciprocated links from their advert on "This Site", we reserve the right to cancel their advertisement without refund.

16. Payment policy

Welcome Worldwide is currently charging an admin fee of £10 to advertise a single holiday property on "This Site" for a period of 12 months, plus 2% of the total booking price. (Individuals and property managers with more than 10 property listings are by negoiation.)

Welcome Worldwide will request a 10% deposit from the holidaymaker to confirm the booking. This deposit (minus Welcome Worldwides 2% commission) will be released to the property owner 24 hours after the holidaymaker has arrive at the property.

If the holidaymaker cancels the booking with less than 6 weeks before the arrival date, you will be entitled to all or part of the deposit they have paid. (See T&Cs 8. Refund Deposit.)

17. Refund policy

"Welcome Worldwide" provide an advertising service rather than a physical product. We offer a 'cooling off period' of seven (7) days wherein an Advertiser has the right to cancel their advertisment for a full refund; the Advertiser will need to apply for the refund in writing by email to "Welcome Worldwide" at providing Owner ID number and Property Reference number. The 'cooling off period' applies to the initial advertising period only; it cannot be applied beyond the first year.

18. Commission Policy

Welcome Worldwide operates a simple 2% commission on the total price of the holiday booking.

We will request a 10% deposit from the customer at the time of booking.

This deposit (minus our 2% commission for the total price of the booking) will be released to the property owner 24 hours after the holidaymaker has arrived at the property.

When we send the balance of the deposit to the property owner we also send a paid invoice for your records and accounts.

19. Modification to prices and conditions

"Welcome Worldwide" reserves the right to change the rates and conditions without notice. Changes to rates will be applicable immediately for new advertisers and following renewal for existing clients.
